NEW YORK (AP) — A tiny New York City violin repair shop may have to close because it violates an obscure zoning regulation.
The owners of Tanen Violins say the Department of Buildings informed them that their Manhattan shop is illegal in the residential district. The shop is on Broadway — albeit about four miles north of the famous theater district.
