A photo exhibit showing the devastation that superstorm Sandy brought to the area will open at noon on Friday, March 22, in the ArtsWestchester Arts Exchange building, 31 Mamaroneck Ave., in White Plains.

"Hurricane Sandy: Through the Lens of Local Photographers" will feature more than 150 images and stories captured by local professional and amateur photographers.

"The power of the images and the humaneness of the community's response led us to think about sharing these with a wider audience," ArtsWestchester CEO Janet Lansam said in a news release.

The exhibit will be open noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturday until April 27.
