Thousands shut out of Tavern on the Green Halloween party

They got all dressed up for what promised to be a lavish Halloween party in Manhattan's Tavern on the Green.
Instead, last Saturday, thousands of partygoers who forked over $60 and $130 for "VIP" treatment at "Halloween on the Green" were stuck in the rain for hours, crushed against one another, before authorities told everyone to go home.
