Dawson hits the Tribeca circuit
Twenty- and 30-something gals shamelessly crowded around former “Dawson’s Creek” stud James Van Der Beek at the “William Vincent” after-party at The Gates. After several attendees slammed panelist Regina Benjamin, the U.S. surgeon general, over President Barack Obama’s perceived inattention to the issue, Legend, who provided the soundtrack for the film, calmly asked the audience from his second-row seat, “What would you have the president do?” Some replies: increasing funding for testing and working to lose the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.

Food fight erupts at ‘Keep Surfing’
Didn’t their parents ever tell them not to play with their food? During LG’s screening of “Keep Surfing” at the Tribeca Grand, event co-hosts Mark Sanchez and Jamie Lynn-Sigler “playfully tossed” candy and popcorn at each other, a witness told us. Afterward, the Jets quarterback and “Entourage” starlet headed to the Gramercy Park Hotel’s Rose Bar with friends. Do we smell a romance or just a new friendship?
