Witnesses detain driver in fatal Brooklyn hit-run
An illegal U-turn contributed to a fatal pedestrian accident caused by a driver who had to be restrained as he tried to flee the scene, police said.
Lawrence Myers, 38, of Brooklyn, was arrested Friday a short distance from where police said he ran down Francisco Guerrero, 73, in the Sunset Park section of Brooklyn.
