MTA riders need to see a long-term plan
Just when it seems that paying for life's necessities has gotten as tough as possible, here comes the Metropolitan Transportation Authority with a plan to reach into riders' pockets yet again. The MTA just hiked fares in March. This behemoth gives the appearance of lurching from one cash infusion to the next, with little planning for the future.
