Steven Carlson is a California-based counselor who works with families to navigate the child custody legal process. His approach is based on the idea that family court "is an imperfect system, heavily influenced by human biases, personal experiences, ulterior motives, perception, and appearance."
Steven Demby is a NYS licensed psychologist with many years of experience helping parents and children through the difficult life-transitions of divorce. Andrew Schepard is a Hofstra University law professor and chair of the Family Law Education Reform Project, co-sponsored by Hofstra Law School and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. He is also a founder of Parent Education and Custody Effectiveness (P.E.A.C.E), an education program for divorcing and separating parents on how to manage their conflicts over their children responsibly.
