Artist Terry Elkins works in his studio in Sagaponack. He is a painter very influenced by de Kooning and works out East full-time. Terry Elkins, recipient of two Pollock-Krasner grants, works figuratively, with a great feel for landscape; some of his works are huge, covering 20 or 30 feet of wall space. Photo Essay: East End artists
There are certain places in the world that beckon artists, and the East End is one of them.
