McCain to appear on "Saturday Night Live"
Live from New York, it's John McCain.
The Republican presidential contender will make a cameo appearance this week on NBC's "Saturday Night Live," which most recently has been focused on the continuing Democratic presidential contest.
Aides traveling with McCain in the Pacific Northwest said the Arizona senator will appear on Saturday's program, to be hosted by comedian Steve Carell, although they were silent about the details of McCain's sketch.
During his weekend in New York, McCain also plans a series of media interviews, including one with Glamour magazine.
