Cuomo: Attorney gives up claim to public pension

Attorney Carol Hoffman, who was falsely reported as an employee of four Nassau County school districts, has agreed to pay a $50,000 settlement and give up any claim to a public pension, the state attorney general's office announced Wednesday.
