Atka the Wolf, whose November visit to Hastings was canceled due to Hurricane Sandy, will be appearing at the James Harmon Community Center at 1 p.m. Feb. 3.

Atka is the oldest and most-traveled ambassador wolf from the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem. This is an opportunity for children of all ages to meet Atka, and learn facts and history about wolves as well as our role in protecting them.

Tickets are $7 for families, $3 for ages 16 and up, and $1 for ages 3 to 15. Seating is limited and preregistration is required. Register in-person at the James Harmon Community Center during normal business hours or online at www.activityreg.com/clientpage.wcs?clientid=HASTINGS&siteid=1.

For questions about the event, contact Kendra Garrison at kgarrison@hastingsgov.org or 914-478-2380, ext. 641. The James Harmon Community Center is located at 44 Main St.
