Stony Point holds special drive for Sandy victims

Organizers say gift cards to local grocery stores are still needed.

The Trinity United Methodist Church on East Main Street in Stony Point held a special drive for superstorm Sandy victims Thursday night.

Members of the church collected clothes, food and toys for victims who lost almost everything during the storm that ravaged parts of the Hudson Valley.

Organizers said they are still in need of gift cards to local grocery stores for food and cleaning supplies.
