Suozzi's shot at Senate may rise if Spitzer falls
Eliot Spitzer's woes may be Tom Suozzi's windfall. While Suozzi is at least third back in line to contend for governor behind Lt. Gov. David Paterson and state Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, his prospects have risen considerably for U.S. Senate should Hillary Rodham Clinton become president, political experts said. Previously, Paterson had been seen as the leading contender for the Senate nod.
