May God bless and comfort the family of this magnificent United States Naval Officer: LT Michael Murphy. He was as brave as the great ones: Jones, Decatur, Farragut, to name a few. A true champion has been stolen from us. He will never be forgotten.

My heart broke when I read what happened to LT. Murphy and his team. As a future officer in the U.S. Armed Forces, I will definitely use LT. Murphy's legacy as a guide through my military career. What a hero!

To the Murphy Family and Michael, im not sure if you may read this, but your sons courage and devotion to not only his country, family, team and patriotism has inspired me to work harder to become a Navy SEAL. It's been a dream I've wanted so bad since I was 10 years old. I'm 19 years old right now and I am considering Penn State ROTC as an option for NROTC as well as UPENN. Lone Survivor is an amazing book and I look up to Michael as a strong person. Im so sorry about the loss of Michael as it hurts deeply. But his fight didn't go unnoticed. Thank you and you have my prayers. I would love to have an email from you guys
