Swine flu claims Queens assistant principal
The swine flu virus claimed its first New York fatality Sunday with the death of an assistant principal at a Queens public school who had fallen sick last week.
Mitchell Wiener, 55, the assistant principal at IS 238 in Hollis and an educator for 30 years, died Sunday at 6:17 p.m. at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, a hospital official said.
