It pays to get to the Broadway Mall early on Thanksgiving and Black Friday. The mall is hosting the Long Island Pulse Shop Hop on Nov. 22. For a $10 fee, shoppers can register the day of the event to receive discounts and shopping incentives at participating stores. They will also be treated to a food-and-wine tasting and entered into raffles for prizes that include a Westfield American Express gift card valued at $500. Proceeds from the event’s ticket sales benefit the Family Service League.

There are new stores to check out, too, including Lane Bryant, Men’s Wearhouse and Michael Kors. Puzzled by what to get that special someone? Sunrise Mall shoppers have two new destinations for holiday gifts — the recently opened Pandora and Tess Morgan shops. Pandora is known for its keepsake jewelry, while Tess Morgan carries popular brands such as Vera Bradley, Alex and Ani and Swarovski crystal.

Some lucky shoppers will be presented with holiday gift cards by a costumed group of holiday greeters known as the Merry Makers. The mall is also offering a high-tech solution to finding the perfect present: a Digital Gift Finder app and website featuring more than 500 items to help shoppers find gifts.
