THURSDAY: The Commerce Department posts retail sales for May and business inventories for April. Also, jobless benefits claims for the week ended June 6 and import and export prices for May, both from the Labor Department.

FRIDAY: Producer prices for May, the Labor Department's monthly update of inflation at the wholesale level. Also, consumer sentiment in early June from the University of Michigan.
