Black ice warning follows light snowfall

The National Weather Service is warning of black ice Saturday night after a light snowfall on Long Island.

The heaviest snow has moved out of the area, and the weather service is now reporting possible light snow and flurries until about 10 p.m., before the precipitation tapers off.

For Saturday night, the low temperatures will be in the mid-20s. Sunday will be mostly sunny, with highs around 40 and in the lower 20s at night.
