One brisk day partway done, another chilly one yet to go. Saturday is forecast to bring sunny skies, as well as highs in the 30s, feeling colder with the wind chill, forecasters say.

Just before 4 p.m. Friday at Long Island MacArthur Airport, the temperature was 31 degrees, feeling more like 24, according to the National Weather Service.

Overnight lows are expected to dip to around 20 degrees, again, with wind chill as a factor.

Then we come to Sunday — Super Bowl Sunday. The light snow that had been possible is no longer in the picture for Long Island, said Peter Wichrowski, weather service meteorologist in Upton.

The day is forecast to bring mostly cloudy skies, with temperatures heading back up into the low 40s. Look for partly cloudy skies at night, and overnight lows in the low 30s.
