Some flight arrivals were still delayed and some Long Islanders remained without electricity Wednesday evening after rain flooded roads, downed trees and caused scattered power outages.
As of 11 p.m., the Long Island Power Authority was reporting a slight uptick in outages and 284 customers without power. The hardest-hit areas were Levittown and Inwood.
