Si Frumkin, activist for Soviet Jews, dead at 78

LOS ANGELES - Si Frumkin, a survivor of the Nazi's Dachau concentration camp and a Los Angeles textile manufacturer who founded the Southern California Council for Soviet Jews in 1968, died Friday of cancer at Providence Tarzana Medical Center. He was 78.
