Rachel begins her partnership with Fox 61 WTIC-TV as a contributing reporter on the 10:00 p.m. newscast. Thanks to a broad-ranging agreement between Fox 61 and Clear Channel Total Traffic Network, she will be a regular on the evening newscast and will be the traffic reporter for the Fox 61 Morning Show launching this spring.
Lutzker will continue to provide traffic reports for Clear Channel stations WWYZ, WKSS, WURH and WPOP and serve as evening host on Clear Channel Radio's WHCN The River.
Richard Graziano, Vice President and General Manager of Fox 61 WTIC-TV said, "We are excited to have someone with Rachel's experience and background become part of the Fox 61 news team. Not only will Rachel continue to provide the best traffic coverage, she will also report on the entertainment scene for the award-winning Fox 61 News At Ten."
Rachel Lutzker began her broadcasting career as a traffic reporter for several Hartford-area radio and television stations. In 2001, Lutzker moved to New York City as a dedicated traffic reporter for WCBS-TV.
She returned to Connecticut for the launch of TimeSaver Traffic on WFSB-TV, WHCN, WPHH, WWYZ and WKSS. In addition to traffic reporting, Lutzker is the on-air host of the nightly program Acoustic AfterDark on The River (WHCN).
