Elizabeth Fernandez of Yonkers wipes away tears after reading the names of people who died as a result of HIV/AIDS during a walk for remembrance and HIV/AIDS awareness through downtown Yonkers on World AIDS Day. Fernandez is HIV positive. She began to weep after reading the name of a friend who died from AIDs just four days before they were supposed to do the AIDS Walk this past year. "When I read her name, it just felt so real," she said. (Nov. 30, 2012)(Credit: Angela Gaul)
