Jets head coach Rex Ryan’s future remains in limbo, but he’s not alone when it comes to NFL job insecurity. In fact, nearly a third of the NFL's coaches are on the hot seat entering the final two weeks of the season.

Here’s a look:

Rex Ryan, Jets: First-year general manager John Idzik is keeping his thoughts to himself, but recent history hasn't been kind to incumbent coaches working for new GMs. Just ask Lovie Smith, Eric Mangini and Mike Sherman, all of whom were fired after one season with a new GM. Smith got the gate in Chicago despite a 10-6 record last year.

Tom Coughlin, Giants: Indications are the two-time Super Bowl champion will come back. Still, there's plenty of speculation to the contrary.

Jason Garrett, Cowboys: Jerry Jones said earlier this season that Garrett was safe for 2014, but it would surprise no one if Jones makes a change if the underachieving Cowboys miss the playoffs.

Mike Shanahan, Redskins: The dysfunction is at a fever pitch, and the rocky relationship between Shanahan and quarterback Robert Griffin III is likely to prompt a move from owner Daniel Snyder.

Dennis Allen, Raiders: Another losing season in Oakland could mean another coach next season.

Wade Phillips, Texans: No way the Texans' interim coach makes it to next year. After Gary Kubiak got a pink slip, owner Bob McNair is ready to clean house. The Texans have already interviewed Smith.

Jim Schwartz, Lions: Probably needs to make the playoffs to keep his job.

Leslie Frazier, Vikings: After reaching the playoffs last year, Frazier isn't expected back in 2014.

Greg Schiano, Buccaneers: Two losing seasons and plenty of griping from his players likely means Schiano is out.

Mike Munchak, Titans: He'll have to do an awfully good selling job to convince management he should be back next season. He's 20-26 in nearly three years on the job.
