MORRISTOWN - Parts of the Garden State got an early taste of winter this morning.

Snow fell across much of the state as temperatures plummeted into the 30s.

The snow made roadways slippery for the morning commute and stuck to grassy areas and the tops of cars.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist James Gregorio says gusty, northerly winds will make it feel like it's in the 20s today.
