Hasson-Murtha

Nora Hasson and James Murtha were married Sept. 2 at St. Edward's Church in Syosset. The reception was at Sans Souci in Sea Cliff. She is a sales executive for Xerox in Hartford, Conn., and is the daughter of Marcella Murphy of Asheville, N.C., and Barry Hasson of Churchville. The bridegroom is a law student and is the son of Lin Katz of Smithtown and Thomas Murtha of Placida, Fla. The bride earned a bachelor of science from the University of Buffalo. The groom earned a bachelor of science from the University of Buffalo and is pursuing a juris doctor from Western New England School of Law. They live in Manchester, Conn.
