Red-handed tamarin with Easter egg basket: Red-handed tamarins are getting into the egg-hunting spirit at the Wildlife Conservation Society's Bronx Zoo, as mom and one of her four-month-old twins explore their spring-time basket filled with a special treat of seeds, nuts, and dried fruit. It's all part of the zoo's animal enrichment program and the creative keeper staff who work to keep the animals in their care stimulated mentally and physically. This species gets its name because of its reddish-orange hair on its hands and feet. See this species and the other amazing wildlife at the Bronx Zoo daily.
