NY freak show owner wants NC dog with 5 legs

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — There's a fight over a five-legged Chihuahua puppy from North Carolina.

The owner of a Coney Island animal show, John Strong, says he had a deal to buy the dog, Lilly, from a Gastonia man.

Multiple media outlets reported that the dog's owner, Calvin Owensby, sold the pup to a Charlotte woman who wants to have the extra leg amputated next week so the dog can walk...
