Jewish performer Mama Doni will perform an acoustic family concert called "Mama Doni Gets Cooking" and sign her new book, "Get Cooking! A Jewish American Family Cookbook & Rockin' Mama Doni Celebration" (Behrman House Publishing, $19.95) at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center, 300 Forest Dr., East Hills.

Her book includes recipes such as Matzah Pizza and Fill-in-the-Blank Hamantaschen and a 29-track Mama Doni CD.

Kids should come prepared to dance to "Synagoguersize" and join the Challah Day conga line.
