Looking for things to do with the kids this weekend? From Raggedy Ann and Disney's "Mulan" to tropical fun, crafts and more, there's much to do on Long Island. Here are my top five picks for fun, family-friendly activities this weekend:

1. Tropical PLAYcation at Long Island Children's Museum (11 Davis Ave., Garden City). On Friday from 6-9 p.m., explore the islands with steel drums, limbo contests, crafts, face painting, beach games and refreshments. Price: $12.

2. Raggedy Ann and Andy, or Friends and Friends and Friends at Theatre Three (412 Main St., Port Jefferson). Children's favorite rag dolls come to life in an adventure about friendship, loyalty and love on Friday and Saturday at 11 a.m. Price: $10.

4. Disney's Mulan at BroadHollow Theatre Company (700 Hempstead Tpke., Elmont). Travel back to ancient China with misfit Mulan and mischievous Mushu on Saturday at 2 p.m. Price: $12, $10 in advance.

5. Wintering Habits of Birds at South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center (377 Sag Harbor Tpke., Bridgehampton).
