I don't understand the rush to fill Sen. Hillary Clinton's seat ["Kennedy campaigns for Clinton seat," News, Dec. 16].
This seat has been empty for two years now while Clinton was out campaigning, even though we have been paying for it! If the governor wants to save money for New York, he should not fill it.
