Get more thugs
to think twice
Kudos to the two off-duty officers who were able to ward off their attackers using their service revolvers ["Cops refuse to be crime victims," News, Oct. 28]. If New York State were willing to allow more law-abiding citizens to carry arms for self-protection, perhaps thugs would think twice before planning their next caper.
