EDITORIAL: Our choice for Brookhaven Town supervisor
The sound of silence has largely replaced the noise of partisan bickering that too often served as the theme music in the Town of Brookhaven.
Much of the credit goes to new Supervisor Mark Lesko, 42, the East Setauket Democrat elected in a March 31 special election. In his first elective office, the former federal prosecutor has worked hard to create a more collaborative environment.
