Elmsford bar hosts benefit for pet shelter

Peter's Saloon & Restaurant in Elmsford is hosting a benefit for Pets Alive Westchester, a no-kill animal shelter, starting at 9 p.m. Saturday.

Rock the Paw, featuring music by Sugarush & Friends, is being held to raise money and awareness of animals displaced by Hurricane Sandy.

People can help the Sandy victims being housed at the Elmsford shelter by donating $10 at the door or by bringing one of the many needed supplies listed at petsalivewest.org.
