BUCHANAN - The Indian Point Energy Center will test its emergency siren system tomorrow.

The sirens near the nuclear plant will sound for four minutes between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. and will be heard in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, and Orange counties.

The plant generates as much as 30 percent of the electricity used in New York City and Westchester County.
