Letter: There are answers from Sandy Hook

Authorities say Adam Lanza shot his mother to

Authorities say Adam Lanza shot his mother to death inside their Newtown home on Dec. 14, 2012 before driving to Sandy Hook Elementary School, where he massacred 20 first-graders and six educators. He killed himself as police arrived. (Credit: AP/NBC News; John Roca)

How can Newsday say “the danger wasn’t apparent, which suggests the massacre wasn’t preventable.”?
So now it’s OK to have a child in your home who you never speak to? A child with significant mental health issues regularly taking target practice with assault weapons is “not so rare”?

Why is there no detail on how Adam Lanza, who killed 27 people including his mother, obtained the weapons?

Please stop saying there are no answers. There are answers. A pair of irresponsible parents ignored their own child’s mental health, and essentially gave him all the necessary tools to commit such unspeakable horror.
