LETTERS: Fast food tax, gay marriage, more
Think BIG on taxes Nassau County is considering a 2 percent tax on fast-food purchases, to bring in revenue and raise people's consciousness about what they put into their bodies ["Nassau tax plan is a whopper," News, June 21]. But county officials are thinking too small. Look at the big picture, guys! Let's tax sugar, wine, coffee and people with more than two cars - for environmental reasons....
