Hypocrisy's evident on 9/11 health bill
It is the very epitome of hypocrisy for Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.) to defend his party's deliberate demolition of the Zadroga 9/11 bill ($7.4 billion reduced to $4.3 billion) by saying, "Every American recognizes the heroism of the 9/11 first responders, but it is not compassionate to help one group while robbing future generations of opportunity."
Please, Sen. Coburn, explain why $7 billion for the health of real American heroes and the future of their families somehow robs future generations, while $700 billion given to the superwealthy in needless tax reductions does not.
