What a great way to make a fortune in real estate ["Lawmaker's office granted zone change," News, June 13], using the power of your political connections for personal gain.

It's easy as 1, 2, 3:

1) Buy a distressed property on the cheap. 2) "Persuade" your local politician friends to grant you a zoning change. 3) Claim your profits on the newly rezoned property! It's an old insider's trick.
