The article "Baldwin: Quinn 'is not qualified' " [News, March 19] gave actor Alec Baldwin a forum to express his political opinion. This is just plain wrong!

Baldwin is an actor. Newsday may wish to label him an activist, as you have done in the past, but he is nothing more than an actor.

If Baldwin wishes to enter politics, then let his voice be heard. Otherwise, his opinion should be on your celebrity pages. His opinion carries as much weight as Honey Boo Boo's.
