Regarding "Freeze nixed" [News, Feb. 15], about a judge overturning the wage freeze imposed on Nassau employees: I consider it a slap in the face of every working citizen who must continue to pay for these increases even during times of economic hardship.

So many of us are suffering setbacks and decreases in our incomes, while having to watch as our civil servants are rewarded on the backs of the taxpayers. It's a disgrace. Who are the servants in this scenario?
