Letter: Bike-sharing plan has glitches
Attempting to find a Citi Bike around 7 or 8 a.m. most weekdays anywhere within two or three blocks around Penn Station is frustratingly disappointing.
I have called and emailed Citi Bike customer service. While its staff members are very courteous, they just parrot back the same mantra: They are working on it, they know that there are issues and that it defeats the mission of Citi Bike to be unable to walk out a door and get a bike.
Why is it seemingly so unpredictable to the folks at Citi Bike that there are key locations and times when more bikes are needed, or locations that may have too many bikes?
