Letter: Burying lines would be costly

A letter writer suggests putting all wiring underground ["Weathering the future superstorm," Nov. 7]. Acknowledging the immense expense, he suggests the costs be shared by federal, state and local governments as well as the customer.

At the end of the day, it's still all paid for by the customer-taxpayer, no matter the dispenser of the funds.
