Newsday devoted an article to Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo's declining popularity and never once considered that his poorly conceived approach to public education plays a part ["Poll: Cuomo approval ratings hit record low," News, June 4].
Parents understand that their children are their most precious investment, and the governor has been working with a laser focus to undermine our outstanding public education system because of a political vendetta against teachers who did not support his re-election.
