Once again, Roe v. Wade is central in legislation ["Skelos to block abortion rights vote," News, June 6].

Sen. Dean Skelos (R-Rockville Centre) has indicated he will not consent to bringing a measure to the floor that contains language protecting a woman's right to abortion.

Why is he afraid? Why not send legislation indicating that men cannot have a vasectomy? How would Skelos feel about that? Since when should men have the right to tell women what they should do with their bodies?

Let's give women the right to tell men what to do with their bodies. No more mustaches, beards, tattoos or vasectomies.
