As a parent and Girl Scout leader, I teach that there are serious consequences if children engage in bullying.
Donald Trump has exhibited many bullying behaviors in the presidential campaign, and I am horrified [“Clinton, Trump clash,” News, March 22]. Name-calling and demeaning insults are just the tip of the iceberg. He has made cruel, antagonistic references to people based on ethnicity, gender and disabilities. These are disgraceful behaviors for which schoolchildren would face consequences.
It’s time for the American people to be “upstanders” and put an end to his bullying!
