Regarding “Tax break eyed for retirees” [News, March 24], does anyone even remotely believe that saving “a few hundred dollars to less than $5,000 a year” is enough of an incentive to stop seniors from leaving New York?

As a New York resident and a Florida property owner, I cannot help but notice that I am paying close to $15,000 more in property taxes in New York. That is closer to the level of savings Albany has to come up with to stem the exodus of seniors.
