Letter: Tobacco industry's too powerful

Of course the tobacco industry has fought graphic warning labels and won ["Graphic cigarette label plan ends," News, March 21].

Let us not forget that we have a capitalist government and not a government of the people. Big business is more important than our lives.

Does anyone have a solution to make our country more for the people, rather than for business?
