How shortsighted Long Island officials are. Nassau County wants a tank museum at the Bethpage Restoration [" 'Honor our military,' " News, May 10].
Doesn't anyone remember that local Suffolk officials chased away the nonprofit Mattituck tank museum with its extensive collection in 1999?
