Oshkosh awarded $36 million in military contracts
OSHKOSH, Wis. - OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Oshkosh Corp. announced it has won two military contracts with a combined value of $36 million.
The contracts were announced Friday by Oshkosh Defense, a division of Oshkosh Corp.
The largest contract is $26 million from the U.S. Army for more than 100 heavy tactical trucks that are designed to support the Engineer Corps in transporting bridging assets.
The company also won a $10 million Army contract for the application of a self-sealing product on more than 550 tanker trucks to reduce the risk of fire while transporting fuel.
